We are having SCCM 2012 R2 SP1 on our Environment with Single Primary and few Primary across global support. We are doing Patch Management for Windows 7 and Windows 8/8.1 Operating System.

Every day habit of checking the SCCM Site Status.

Only for the Software Update Point it is getting Error as shown below:

After Once I Restart the WSUS Pool from IIS Manager, the error goes away. Here, I want to fix this issue permanently. Please guide with your suggestions on the same.

Any proxies to connect to internet?

Is your WSUS configured to use SSL (port 8531) ?

If you are using SSL, you can try the following command : (change your server name and port number)

wsusutil.exe configuressl [nameofyourserver]:portnumber

We are using the Port 8531

We do not have Proxies. Do we need to do any Memory Pooling for IIS on this.
